Basic Care Instructions: 1. Hand wash blade only, using only water or mild soapy water if needed, NEVER put knife in dishwasher 2. If possible, simply wipe off blade with dry paper towel of dish towel (be careful of sharp cutting edge) 3. Immediately dry blade 4. Oil the wood and blade periodically with food grade oil such as mineral oil, cutting board oil, “wood butter” or beeswax 5. Wipe off excess oil with clean rag and allow to dry
